GOG Galaxy client would be convenient. <br /> <br /> GOG Galaxyは便利だからLinuxで使えるようになったらいいなと思う
They removed the wishlist progress after over 9 years give up <a href="https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2022/07/gog-finally-remove-the-false-qin-progressq-note-about-gog-galaxy-for-linux/" class="light_un" target="_blank">https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2022/07/gog-finally-remove-the-false-qin-progressq-note-about-gog-galaxy-for-linux/</a>

I have seen so much companies dying like this. No Linux client. No Silicon client. After two years of M-Processors and the SteamDeck. Windows-PC is for companies. Not for Gaming anymore. Everybody can see this. Your actions shout out so loud - i can not hear what you want to tell me. - More or less translated to english. I will go with steam. This Ship is sinking. I will not invest anymore into this till i see where this leads to. And i have a bad feeling.

Yes please! GOG is about non drm and linux is about escaping the evil mchinations of apple and microsoft. this makes complete sense.

I'll add myself among the linux users because I use both Kubuntu and Manjaro and I'd like to play also Linux games via GOG as well as via Steam, both Native and via some program similar to "Proton", because in the future Linux and Vulkans will be the future of the gaming market.
I love GOG, but I since I moved from Windows to Linux, I can't buy any games from you all because I can't record my time or unlock achievements with the lutris/gog pairing. If you can fix this issue by either releasing a linux support GOG launcher OR any other way you can lol...greatly appreciate it!
I've just installed a new machine, mostly to play games and watch youtube. <br /> Steam is installed, gamepad-ui style. <br /> Now I want to install my GoG games and I have the choice between downloading a gazillion of files (Witcher 3, I've not checked Cyberpunk yet) or ... what? Buy the games again on Steam? <br /> <br /> Gee, I wonder what platform I'll use next time I need to by a game that's on GoG and on Steam ... <br />
Hey GOG! <br /> Others wrote more than enough reason to make it happen. If it's a money issue, go for a fundraiser, and I'm happy to vote with my wallet. <br /> If it's a development issue: I think you can ask the Linux community for help.
It makes no sense for a DRM-free launcher to not support the only platform that is actually free. This is lost money for GOG, especially since the Steam Deck was released. Why buy here, when Steam supports linux flawlessly? <br /> <br /> It's a real shame. If someone buys on GOG because of no DRM, chances are they'll also be a Linux supporter. Why stiffle them?
I just bought several more games on Steam because it's easy. <br /> <br /> Why would a DRM-free store have such love for Windows, which is DRM in OS form? I think I Just answered my own question.
No Linux client? Guess my gaming $ stays with Steam. *shrug*
I am moving from WIndows to Linux gaming. Such a shame that my Cyberpunk progress doesn't sync because the GOG launcher has no support for Linux.
Please, release GOG Galaxy on linux
Money for gog 2%, money for steam 98%. Where is the gog galaxy linux client. Last time i bought something on gog was like 3 years ago and that wont change until there is linux support.
I used to prioritize buying games from GoG back when I had my Win7 computer. I don't do that any more, since I prefer Linux for my daily use. Considering this has gotten over 34K votes (amongst the other popular ones that seem to echo this), I'm not the only one. That is leaving quite a bit of money on the table, that could be gained instead of looking in to "subscription service models" that no one ever asked (I filled out a feedback form that suggested GoG is planning to go that route).
Still waiting from the release, seriously GOG you suck.
I find that petition for GOG support on Linux! <a href="https://www.change.org/p/official-gog-com-support-heroic-games-launcher?redirect=false" class="light_un" target="_blank">https://www.change.org/p/official-gog-com-support-heroic-games-launcher?redirect=false</a>

I'd love Linux support, I want to give my money to GOG, but I can only give them to Steam because that's where my games work
<a href="https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/gog.com" class="light_un" target="_blank">https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/gog.com</a> pour installer minigalaxy
Welp, I guess they removed the inprogress tag then.
Przyłączam się do czekania
Je commence à avoir une montagne de jeux sur steam
I've had some success installing some of my GoG games through Lutris. As much as I would love a native Linux client for the GoG launcher, the fact that it must maintain a library of WINE compatibility settings would just make it GoG-themed Lutris. Since the Lutris devs have already put in the work, and still actively maintain it, this seems much like re-inventing the wheel. Instead, why not encourage the game devs to make their titles more portable? The only thing better than a native GoG client would be native games that don't require all the extra work of tweaking WINE or Proton.
I love gog but sadly I cant use it on my ubuntu
please release a native binary because fucking gog on lutris is so glitchy and inconsistent

I buy my games where I can install and play them. I'd like to use GOG, but Steam supports Linux, not GOG. So Steam gets my money now.
Steam Deck exists for a while now... as much as gaming on Linux still sucks, it's a lot less sucky than it used to be. Consider paying some cash to the lutris developers to get lutris-installed non-native games to sync right, and it's basically free real estate.
Whenever You ready GoG!
That's 100% Right, to relase GOG Galaxy 2.0 on Linux. <br /> <br /> I Preffer, DRM-Free Offline instalators, but the biggest mistake is not having a choice, between DRM-Free Offline Instalators, who need Lutris with Wine, or only Wine to run many great games like Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman Blood Money, XIII and many more. <br /> <br /> CD Project Red what, are you doing? This is so stupid, many people want to play games, and that's all. <br /> <br /> Not spend many times, on configuration games for running on Linux <br /> Why are you still not create GOG Galaxy 2.0 versions with build in Wine Support, for games that don't support Linux native. <br /> <br /> I Used Windows many years, but I was switched to Linux. <br /> <br /> That's sad, because in my opinion, GOG Galaxy 2.0 have potencial, to be one of the best Commercial Game Launchers. <br /> <br /> But that's a problem in Poland with Linux stereotypes, you can't play games, you only can run command line, and many others. <br /> I live in Poland, and about Linux, small number talks, Windows in schools, hospitals, and many places, Windows Rules Poland. <br /> <br /> And that's long text ends with: Give a Choice CD Project Red. <br /> <br /> (That's Text only for Critical Purposes) <br />
For God's sake, I WANT TO PLAY GWENT!!!!!! RELEASE GOG CLIENT FOR LINUX
I too would love to have a GOG Galaxy client for linux, however, after all this time I doubt they have any interest in it. Quite unfortunate.
Please make GOG Galaxy work on linux! Please!
bummer, can't install
